Try our property suitability tool below, which has been developed to help you check if your homeowners property is suitable for an air source heat pump., we then contact you and arrange the next steps of the project, and provide an estimated size of Heat Pump required for the property.

How MCS Umbrella Services works

This service is only available to Heating, Plumbing and Electrical Installers.

  1. Submit the Property details with our Heat pump estimate tool to check property suitability for a heat pump system, this will use data from the property EPC and provide an estimated size for the Heat Pump installation.

  2. Once you`ve registered, we set up your projects account on our App, and each installation is managed through our App.

  3. We complete the property survey

  4. We apply for the DNO application.

  5. We contact your Homeowner and issue your installation contract

  6. We apply for the BUS grant on the behalf of the Homeowner.

  7. You purchase your Heat Pump equipment from your chosen supplier, nationwide merchant or your local merchant that's your choice, we do supply equipment, unless your require this then we are happy to provide a quotation

  8. ​You carry out the installation of the Heat Pump and monitor install through our App. You also follow our essential installation guide to stay compliant with MCS and Heat Pump Installation requirements.

  9. We commission the Heat Pump.

  10. We create the MCS certificate and Handover pack.

  11. We redeem the BUS grant and send to the homeowner.
